All of our cars will be in action in qualifying on Friday 28th and the races take place on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th July. With some cars and drivers competing in multiple events it will be an exceptionally busy weekend for the team.
Julian Thomas will return to the 3rd round of the Jaguar Classic Challenge in his 2016 series winning E-Type. In the Pre '63 GT race 3 Healey's will be racing including 2 ex-works cars: SMO 746, driven by Martyn Corfield and Jeremy Welch and 767 KNX, driven by Alex Bell and Nigel Greensall.
One new car of note is the freshly built Jaguar E-Type 3.8 of Jean-Marc Rivet-Fusil. The car has been built at our factory from a painted shell and features new Denis Welch Motorsport race engine and running gear, suspension and electrics. This will be the first time the car has raced since completion. Jean-Marc will be joined by co-driver Jeremy Welch in the Jaguar Classic Challenge.
Jeremy Welch will be co-driving Healey customer Alex Bell's 1923 Bentley 3/41/2. Look out for them in the Kidston Trophy For Pre-War Sports Cars race on Saturday at 12:40. It will be Jeremy's first race in this pre-war machine and in Alex's words, great for a giggle!
