The Denis Welch Motorsport powered and prepared, low drag E-Type Coupe of Julian Thomas and co-driver Calum Lockie took their second consecutive victory in the Jaguar Classic Challenge at Silverstone.
The GT and Sports Car Cup saw some great racing at Silverstone. The Austin Healey 3000 (KVS 484) driven by Jeremy Welch and Martyn Corfield is fitted with a VBOX from Race Logic.
The HSCC International Trophy meeting takes place on 21st and 22nd May at Silverstone on the full 3.66 mile Grand Prix circuit.

May 1st sees the 63rd Tulpen Rallye (Tulip Rally) commence in Saint Vincent in Italy.
Over the next 5 days over 237 cars will compete over 2674km through Austria, France, Luxembourg before finishing in The Netherlands.
Denis Welch Motorsport powered Jaguar E-Type gives Frenchman Tour Auto win for the second consecutive year.
The 25th edition of the Tour Auto took place 18th-24th April in France and was again won by Jean Pierre Lajournade and co-driver Christophe Bouchet in his Jaguar E-Type 3.8. Lajournade’s win is his second consecutive win in the Jaguar, and builds on his success of 1st in 2015 and 2nd in 2014.
Sixth annual historic motorsport festival comes to Donington 30th April to 2nd May
Over the Bank Holiday Weekend, the Donington Historic Festival will showcase some 400 cars including: Grand Prix cars, Le Mans prototypes, GT cars, Sports cars and Touring cars.
Season opener sees success for Denis Welch Motorsport Powered Cars
The Hockenheim Historic on 15th-17th April saw the opening rounds of the 2016 FIA Lurani Trophy for Formula Junior cars. Of particular interest to us were car 55, the Lotus 22 of Manfredo Rossi Di Montelera and car 89, the Lotus 20B of Mark Pangborn, both of which have freshly rebuilt Denis Welch Motorsport engines.
